MSC Orchestra was built in 2007 and was the second ship in the Musica Class.
She has 13 decks for the use of guests starting from deck 4 through to deck 16, although deck 4 is typically used for accessing the tender boats in ports where there is no access to dock at the pier.
Deck 5 - Medical centre, Oceanview staterooms, 2 inside staterooms, Guest Services, L'Incontro Bar and Villa Borghese Restaurant which is one of the main complementary dining rooms.
Deck 6 - Convent Garden Theatre and the leopard style Savanah Bar along with the Purple Bar and Zaffiro Bar with live music. The L'Ibiscus Restaurant which is the second complementary dining rooms is found on deck 6 as well as the shops and the onboard travel agency/shore excursion desk.
Deck 7 - Convent Garden Theatre, the Palm Beach Casino, La Cantinella wine bar and the Shaker Lounge. The internet cafe, libary, cigar room, art and photo gallery are also found on this deck.
Decks 8 to 12 contain inside, ocean-view and balcony staterooms.
Deck 13 - MSC Aurea Spa, MSC Gym, Barracuda bar, El Sombrero Pool Bar, Cala Blanca and Acapulco pools, and La Piazzetta buffet.
Deck 14 - Inside and balcony staterooms, power walking track, shuffleboard, children's indoor and outdoor activities, junior club, teen club, virtual games and the R32 disco.
Deck 15 - Inside, balcony staterooms and premium suites for guests as well as mini golf and shuffleboard.
Deck 16 - Top 16 Exclusive Solarium which is adults only, and the sports centre.
Itineraries
Currently based in the western Mediterranean on 7 night round trip vacations, she will be calling at the ports of Valencia, Cagliari, Civitavecchia (Rome), Livorno, Marseille and Palma de Mallorca until April 2024 and guests will be able to embark at all of these ports.
From the end of April 2024, she will begin 10 night round trip vacations in the western Mediterranean with Lisbon, Portugal also included in the itinerary. Embarkation ports are Genoa, Marseille, Malaga, Lisbon, and Alicante with visits to Cadiz, Mahon and Olbia.
In November 2024, MSC Orchestra will sail a one way transatlantic crossing from Europe to Brazil. Embarkations for the one way crossing are in Genoa, Marseille and Barcelona with disembarkations at Salvador, Rio de Janeiro and Santos.
The itineraries have yet to be released for the South American season, but she will sail back to Europe in March 2025. One way transatlantic voyages leave from Rio de Janiero with one way cruises to Barcelona, Marseille or Genoa.
In April 2025, there will be a one way cruise from Genoa to Piraeus (Athens), for the start of the eastern Mediterranean season which is currently planned for 7 night round trip voyages. Guests can embark in Piraeus, Kusadasi, Haifa, and Limassol with port calls to the Greek islands of Mykonos and Santorini.
