Take metro line C Willowbrook - Rosa Parks station and change to Metro Line A (Blue Line) and head south to Downtown Long Beach. If you are heading straight to the cruise terminal, the bus operated by passport runs from Downtown Long Beach to the cruise terminal. The drop off point is at the Queen Mary cruise ship permanently docked and used as a hotel.
There is also a public bus from LAX that can be taken from LAX City Bus Center. The bus line is 242 and takes between 90 minutes to 2 hours depending on the time of day and traffic.
The Los Angeles Cruise Terminal is in San Pedro and has two cruise terminals.
Public transport options for travelling direct to San Pedro would be to head towards Long Beach by either metro or bus and then take the 142 bus taking around 25 minutes.
