Spain - Balearic Islands
There are four islands in the Balearics which are hugely popular for summer holidays which are Mallorca, Menorca, Ibiza and Formentera. The largest island is Mallorca and Palma is the largesrt city in the Balearics as well as being the capital city. Ibiza is best known as being the party island attracting some of the worlds most popular DJ's in the summer months.
Mallorca is the largest of the four islands and is extremely popular with tourists. The main airport is located in the islands capital of Palma and can be reached from most regional UK airports.
Menorca is to the east of Mallorca with the airport located to the south west of the islands Capital Mahon.
Ibiza is best know as the party island with the nightlife and tourist areas being located in San Antonio and Ibiza Town. The islands airport is located to the south of Ibiza Town.
Formentera is the smallest and most southern of the islands and has no airport. Hotels on the island are reached by flying to Ibiza airport with a coach journey which includes the ferry crossing.

Valentin Son Bou
Located on a hill top location in the south of the island, 1.5km from the town of Son Bou. During the day the hotel offers a free shuttle bus for the five minute journey to the beach. Son Bou has a white sandy beach which is probably the best on the island. There are also restaurants, bars, tourist shops and supermarkets.. Each apartment has a kitchenette, great for families who would like to prepare their own food.

Located on Formentera in Platja de Mig which overlooks one of the best beaches on the islands. The hotel is situated in the south of the island in a peaceful location.
