The Overseas Passenger Terminal located opposite the Sydney Opera House is the terminal used for cruise ships that cannot fit under the Harbour Bridge.

The second cruise terminal in Sydney is White Bay Cruise Terminal that is used for the smaller cruise ships and can accommodate two ships at a time. 

The Overseas Cruise Terminal is located at Circular Quay off Argyle Street, The Rocks with the Circular Quay train station located nearby.  This is the Central Business District of Sydney which is the historical and main commercial area of Sydney and is well served by rail, buses and ferries.  The airport is around 10 miles (16km) by car and takes around 25 minutes, whereas public transport can take around 45 minutes.

The White Bay Cruise Terminal is located on James Craig Road around 7 miles (11.2km) from the airport and can be reached in around 20 minutes by car and 1 hour by public transport.
