Getting to Singapore

Over 100 airlines operate through Singapore Changi airport and is one of the busiest international airports in the world.

Direct flights from the UK

British Airways, Qantas and Singapore Airlines fly direct out of London Heathrow and TIU fly seasonal from Birmingham, London Gatwick and Manchester.  Singapore Airlines also fly direct from Manchester.

Direct flights from North America

Air Canada from Vancouver, United Airlines from San Francisco and Singapore airlines from Houston, Los Angeles, Newark, New York, and San Francisco.

Direct flights from selected European countries

Air France from Paris, Emirates from Dublin, Finnair from Helsinki, KLM from Amsterdam, Lufthansa from Frankfurt,

Singapore Airlines also fly direct from Barcelona, Brussels, Copenhagen, Frankfurt, Munich, Paris, Rome and Zurich

Direct flights from Australia and New Zealand

Air New Zealand from Auckland, British Airways from Sydney, Emirates from Melbourne, Jetstar from Melbourne, Qantas from Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney and Singapore Airlines from Adelaide, Auckland, Christchurch, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney.

Travelling from the airport.

If you don't have a transfer provided through your cruise line or travel agency, the options for travelling from the airport into Singapore are through public bus, train, taxi or private transfer.

Airport City Shuttle

There is an airport city shuttle bus that departs the airport every hour from 7am to 11pm.  The shuttle bus has transfers to over 100 hotels in Singapore.

Airport City Shuttle also has private transfers with a chartered bus service, limousine and premium mpv/maxi.

Public bus

  • Buses 24, 27, 34, 36, 53, 110 and 858 leave from terminals 1, 2 and 3.  These stops are located at the basement bus bays
  • Buses 24, 34, 36 and 110 leave from terminal 4 next to car park 4B.  Buses 27, 53 and 858 leave from the SATS inflight Catering Centre 1.

Bus 36, operated by Go Ahead Singapore runs on a loop to the Marina Bay area of Singapore that is a fantastic area for tourists to stay.

Buses 24, 27, 53 operated by SMS transit head to the north of the city

Buses 858 operated by Tower transit heads to the north of the city

 

 

 

Singapore has 2 cruise terminals which are the international cruise terminal which is located at the Sentosa Harbourfront and the Marina Bay Cruise Centre which is located in Singapore Centre.  The distance between the 2 terminals is around 8km, so its important to double check with your cruise line which cruise terminal you will be departing from as this could influence your choice of hotel in Singapore.
