UEFA European Championships 2024

Germany - June 14th to July 14th 2024

The UEFA European Football Championships will be competed between 24 nations playing in 6 groups.  There will be a total of 51 matches played across 10 host cities.

The host cities are Berlin, Munich, Dortmund, Stuttgart, Gelsenkirchen, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Dusseldorf, Cologne and Leipzig.

Germany have hosted games in the European Championship Finals on two previous occasions.  In 1988 they hosted the tournament as the former West Germany.  The second time was in as Germany in the multi-nation hosted 2020 tournament that was delayed to 2021 due to the Covid-19 outbreak, where Munich hosted four matches.

Along with Spain, Germany are the joint record holder with three titles.  Italy and France have two apiece, and six nations have won the title once - Russia (formerly USSR), Czech Republic (formally Czechoslovakia), Netherlands, Denmark, Greece and Portugal.

The draw for the finals will take place on the 2nd December 2023 with the first match being played on Friday June 14th in Munich featuring the hosts, Germany.  The final will take place on Sunday 14th July in the Olympiastadion, Berlin.
