Singapore Cruise Centre is located close to Sentosa Island and is served by the HarbourFront metro station. The distance from Singapore's Changi International Airport is around 16.5 miles (26.5 km) which can take around 25 by car and 1 hour using Singapores Mass Rapid Transport (MRT) system.
Marina Bay Cruise Centre is located close to Gardens by the Bay and Marina Bay Sands. The cruise terminal is around 14 miles (22.5 km) from Singapore's Changai International Airport which takes around 20 minutes by car and around 50 minutes using the MRT.
Tokyo and Yokohama Cruise Ports
The two ports that you can embark on when travelling to Tokyo are Tokyo International Cruise Port and Yokohama International Passenger Terminal.
Tokyo International Cruise Terminal is located on the artificial island of Odaiba and is around 9 miles (14km) from Tokyo's Haneda International Airport. Transportation can range between 15 minutes by car to 1 hour by public transport.
Yokohama International Passenger Terminal is 25 miles (40km) from Tokyo and around 12.5 miles (20km) from Tokyo (Haneda) International Airport with transport taking between 25 minutes to 1 hour depending on whether travelling by car or public transport.
Tokyo is also served by Narita International Airport which is located around 40 miles (64km) to the east of Tokyo. The Narita Express transit time to Central Tokyo is just over 50 minutes and around 1 hour 30 minutes to Yokohama.
Hong Kong Cruise Ports
The majority of cruise lines use the Kai Tak Cruise Terminal which is built on the former runway of Kai Tak Airport which was closed in 1998.
Hong Kong International Airport is now located on the island of Chek Lap Kok situated in the west of Hong Kong and has excellent services for reaching the city, The airport express train takes approximately 20 to 25 minutes to reach the stations of Kowloon and Central.
The closest MTR stations are between 4 and 5km away from Kai Tak Cruise Terminal. These stations are To Kwa Wan, Sung Wong Toi, Kai Tak, Kowloon Bay and Ngau Tau Kok Station.
There are also various public buses from the areas around Hong Kong Kong for the transfer to the cruise terminal.
Taxis are limited at the terminal when disembarking from your cruise, soif you are heading straight back to the airport then a private transfer or a transfer through your cruise line may be the best option.
