New York

There are three cruise terminals in and around New York.

Cape Liberty is exclusively used by the Royal Caribbean Group, with Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises and the part owned TUI Cruises.  The cruise terminal is 32 miles (51km) from JFK Airport, 10 miles (16km) from Newark Liberty Airport and 35 miles (56km) from LaGuardia Airport.

The closest train station is 34th Street on the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail (HBLR) which is 2 miles (3km) from the cruise terminal.  Taxi's are generally available outside the station.  The stations of Hoboken Terminal, Newport and Exchange place on the New Jersey side of the river Hudson are linked to the North Jersey Coast Line (Blue) which is direct line to 34th Street Bayone.  The travel time from Hoboken is around 30 minutes.  From Manhattan,  take the subway from 33rd Street (close to New York Penn Station) to Hoboken Terminal.  Other stations along the route are 23rd Street, 14th Street, 9th Street and Christopher Street.

Manhattan Cruise Terminal is located 1.5 miles (2.5km) from New York Penn Station. The travel time by car is around 15 minutes.

Brooklyn Cruise Terminal is 6.5 miles (10.5km) from New York Penn Station and takes around 30 minutes by car depending on traffic and around 1 hour by public transport.  The  closest stations to the cruise terminal are Smith 9 Street or Carroll Street.  From Penn Station there will be a change at Jay Street Metro Tech.

If arriving into JFK International Airport, then the AirTrain is an ideal way to get to Manhattan or Brooklyn via the Jamaica Station or Howard Beach Station.  The AirTrain from JFK to these stations costs $8.

From La Guardia Airport, the M60-SBS bus connects to Manhattan with several stops along 125th Street and stops at Harlem 125th Street Station.  Alternatively the Q70 SBS bus links to Woodside 61st Street Station on Subway Line 7 which connects to Times Square.

Manhattan is easy reachable from Newark International Airport.  There is an AirTrain from the Airport to Newark Airport Railroad Station.  The travel time to Penn Station in Manhattan is around 30 minutes.  There is also Newark Airport Express shuttle service to Manhattan.  If travelling direct to Cape Liberty, then pre-booking a shuttle service or taxi would be the best option.

Boston

The Flynn Cruise Terminal in Boston is conveniently located 10 to 15 minutes from Boston Logan International Airport and also 10 to 15 minutes away from Downtown Boston.

The Logan Express operates five routes from the airport to Boston and the surrounding areas.  The route to Back Bay is the best to use if staying in Boston before your cruise.

If travelling from the centre of Boston from the South Station, the SL2 bus stops at 23 Dry Dock Avenue for the cruise terminal.  The travel time is around 10 minutes.

From the airport, the SL1 bus leaves every 10 minutes from all terminals and takes around 15 minutes to reach Silver Line Way.  This is less than 1 mile (1.5km) from the cruise terminal and can be walked or alternatively connect to the SL2 bus for a short ride to 23 Dry Avenue bus stop.

Quebec

The cruise terminals in Quebec are located fairly close to the centre of Quebec and should only take 10 to 15 minutes by car.  The main train and bus station in Quebec is Gare du Palais and is a few minutes away by car and reachable by walking.

There are 2 terminals that are used, and larger ships usually dock at Terminal 30 on the north side of the port, while Wharf 21/22 is also used and is closer to the city centre.

Quebec City Jean Lesage International Airport is located just over 11 miles (18km) away from Quebec and takes around 20 to 30 minutes to reach by car.  Public transport is available and bus 8- runs from the airport to the city centre which takes around 1 hour.
